Recently, my sister and I hosted a 50th Anniversary Party for our parents. In case, you need to know how we did it...here is a quick rundown.... ONE: You need 2 people who have been married for 50 years..... TWO: Send some invitations and put annoucements in the newspapers....(I mean it's kind of a dull party if no one is invited.....) You can get your own invites where we got ours....www.zazzle.com THREE: Convince your sister that she should wrap 100 Hershey bars with customized wrappers to give as party favors.....never mention that she will first have to wrap them all in foil and then the wrapper and that it will take her at least 8 hours to accomplish this....(these wrappers also available at zazzle.com) FOUR: Make some signs and banners....convince your dog to tear one of them up so you can remake it the day before the party.... FIVE: Make some centerpieces.... SIX: Make a bunch of cupcakes, punch and mints....put some nuts in a bowl SEVEN: Wait for people to show up and when they do, breath a huge sigh of relief that you are not going to have to eat all those cupcakes yourself..... EIGHT: Have your picture taken and smile, knowing that when it's over the hotel staff will clean up the mess There you go, eight simple steps to a great 50th Anniversary Party!
